EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE SERVICES
There are many career directed individuals and professionals currently looking
for work or who have recently moved to the Okanagan Valley. They find it very
challenging for their job search. If you are one of these individuals with a
background in Administration, Education, Financial, Health Care, Human
Resources, Management, Technology, or Sales etc., you may be eligible to access
our services at no cost.
The Government of Canada contributes funding to CBD Network's mandate
to provide employment assistance service for any unemployed Canadian or landed
immigrant. One does not have to be on Unemployment Insurance to be eligible.
At CBD, we offer a unique full service employment resource and training
centre. Our coaches are highly trained in career / labour market issues and are
experienced Human Resource professionals. The job search support includes
one-on-one coaching, advanced job search workshops, mock interview sessions,
business networking opportunities, member web site for résumés
and job postings, as well as administrative support.
